Is there a way to fix the colours/background?

I find it difficult to read and it just seems really hard to make my way around. I'd love to be able to disable the background gif and adjust the colour scheme.

Don't get me wrong guys, I like the new forums, was just curious if it could be tweaked individually. That being said, I've run forums before if our S2 techies need a hand
